e-skills UK VIEW

Welcome to e-skills VIEW. You’re one of a select number of schools in the South East who are piloting a new work-related learning product in preparation for the delivery of the IT Diploma. We hope you find your experience relevant, interesting and rewarding.

This pilot uses Virtual Interactive Employer’s Workplace (VIEW) adapted by educational experts at e-skills UK (who have experience of the award winning CC4G) to deliver work relevant learning that might support the IT Diploma and is compelling to students.

The product allows you full access to four real employers - Dover Coastguard Station, Ford of Southampton, BAA Gatwick and Eli Lilly. You can wander around, collect evidence, interview staff and even sneak at look at what’s on their PCs – and no-one will complain.

This website is designed to help you and provide you with downloadable resources.

Please be aware that the product is subject to copyright and is therefore only available to schools that have signed up to be part of the pilots. If you’re not, but would be interested in being part of future pilots, please let us e-skills UK know.

These pilots have been funded by the South East of England Development Agency.

The e-skills UK VIEW resource and the accompanying support materials are only currently available to a small group of schools engaged in the pilot programme.
