Setting the scene
This document may be used to introduce the students to the e-skills VIEW resource. It introduces VIEW and sets some simple questions for the students to answer across all four employers. The document is designed in colour and has spaces available for students to write on the document itself.

Gathering evidence
VIEW encourages young people to think about the evidence that they might gather from a real workplace so that they may better understand the workplace and the people that work there.

Each of the three ‘Gathering evidence’ documents consists of a number of units of work, based on one of the four employers. The units are offered individually so that you can pick and choose which units to download and print, to best fit the needs of your students. The index page to the units is also included.

Gathering evidence 1
Gathering evidence 1 is based upon the theme of the use of IT in the workplace. Each of the four workplaces is visited and evidence of the use of IT is found and questions are set based on this evidence.
